IKEA, founded in Sweden in 1943, offers affordable, well-designed home furnishings to enhance everyday life. As the world’s largest home furnishing retailer with over 420 stores in 52 countries, including three in Singapore, IKEA Southeast Asia prioritizes sustainability, supporting initiatives for children and the environment. Their Young Designer Award challenges students to innovate solutions addressing food waste, aligning with Singapore’s Green Plan 2030.
